First game in 1968? Couldn't you afford tickets until you were 35 or something?

Im not sure of my first games. From recollection my first games was a tuesday night game against Stoke and Steve Cooper scored. Can remember a post in west stand getting in the way of his flips after mi dad had told me all about em! So i got abit morngy. Think he may have got another after though and i was ok then but that maybe wishfull thinking on my part!!

And the first away game i can remember proper was WBA away opening day of season in promotion year but im sure i went to some before that but i simply have no recollection of them if i did!!

Yep that sounds promising!! I can remember somebody breaking a leg though in my early games. Did Julian Broddle break his leg ever?? Seem to remember it was him. Otherwise i may have been at Chelsea game also!!

As you can tell - memory has never been a strong point of mine!:D

1st home be about 83 / 84 seem to remember it being Carlisle (or maybe Cardiff) lost 2-0, first time went wi mi mate's beat Hull 4-1 think it was a new years day game
1st away think??? was Oldham, thou seemed to go there that often in the mid to later 80's / 90's that could be why i remember Oldham so much

best away thou was Oxford week after THE bradford match, lost 5 - 1 but the atmosphere in n around the old Manor ground that day was amazing
