Metaphorically speaking, obviously.... This message from Father Rodney Marshall, St Helens Church

A week today the people of St Helens ward, my ward, go to the polls. And I'm asking you for your help in making sure the BNP don't win. There is a real danger that the British National Party might take the seat here. I don't normally get involved in local elections such as these but the threat is so serious that I have to take a stand. The last time this ward was contested the BNP polled 30% and they have been out campaigning every day during this election. We have been out too, spreading the message of HOPE not hate. It is going to be a really close fight and every vote we can turnout will be important. On Saturday morning I will be leading a team of local activists to deliver our final HOPE not hate leaflet. And I want you to join me in standing up to the BNP: http://action.hopenothate.org.uk/wecanwinthis This is the BNP's first electoral test since Andrew Brons was elected to the European Parliament in June and it is vital we stop them. A win for the BNP will boast them across Yorkshire and that will make all of our jobs harder in the future. However, if we can beat them in one of their strongest areas we'll really knock them back. That is why I'm asking for you to join us on Saturday, at 11am at St. Helens Church Hall 27 Laithes Lane, Barnsley S71 3AF. http://action.hopenothate.org.uk/wecanwinthis I am proud to represent the people of St Helens. They are good people, though some have been duped into supporting the BNP. I have been pleasantly surprised by the amount of local people who are getting involved in our campaign but it can't be left to us alone. A week today the people decide. Your help on Saturday could just be the decisive factor in determining the outcome. Thank you, Father Rodney Marshall St Helens Church

The Father has a decent point... ...if all the good people of St. Helens stand by the BNP minority will prosper. You might not like his religion, but he's dead right about keeping the BNP out.
Who said it wasn't a free vote What they are trying to do is mobilise voters as a low turnout would be more likely to favour the BNP as they'll have mobilised their supporters
I find it very strange that Father Rodney Marshall supports a political party hell bent on mass murder. i refer the the genocide in iraq and Afghanistan. one minute its an hope not hate leaflet with his face on the next its a liebour party leaflet. What are you hopeing for more dead muslims under liebour and hating the fact that the BNP would stop the war. Remember both christian and muslims have the same god.
Apparently, the BNP are bringing in compulsory spelling tests for everyone with a pulse. Now if only liebour could come up with a policy like that!
RE: Apparently, the BNP are bringing in compulsory spelling tests for everyone with a pulse. I suspect his "liebour" is in the same vein as people who write "Tony Bliar" and "Manure". They lose credibility when they stoop to such things in my opinion.
The name labour no longer fits a party of expense's thief's and tory clones, Liebour fits the party a lot better as all we get is one lie after another. If my spelling if that bad its not the BNP's fault. It would be labours fault as its their council who ran the school i attended.
