There's only been myself and a hand full of others thats backed SD throughout this season
But the decission to sell Howard to all clubs foooking SHEFFIELD UNITED is beyond belief

As far as I'm concerned Davey is now walking on thin ice.................... (N)

Unless I hear something different from the club
That is to say.........clear the Howard business up AND / OR ..........we sign some forwards that can actually score

It's up to the player where he goes

the club cannot force him to go anywhere.

Can i ask, what is the point of keeping a player who does not want to play for you. Demotivation will kick in and they wont play to a satisfactory standard as been seen this season from one Brain Howard. This has had nothing to do with simon davey. Believe me when i say i have given SD some stick this season but the blame cant be pointed at him this time. Brian Howard ego is the main factor

"This has had nothing to do with Simon Davey" ????? ....

........ he's the ******* manager for gods sake, how can selling the captain, best player and leading goalscorer over the last two seasons have nowt to do with the manager when we are second from bottom having scored only four goals in eight games?

If he's not involved in getting shut of Howard he bloody well should be involved in keeping him

    Who cares ?

No player is bigger than the club
Larry May & Hirst went to Wednesday because we were skint
We have a fan base of 7-8 k yet reading the postings on this site you would think we are getting 30k every week.

Get real , we are a club who are doing well to survive in the championship without a massive cash injection thats how it will be from now on

I support my club and individuals do not come into it

When Howard and Davey are gone i will still be buying a season ticket

Yeah I agree... as much as I think Howard is a good player, if it's true that he said he didn't want a new contract with us then let him go. Should have sold him in the summer for decent money. Probably hoped that he might change his mind but he hasn't so that has cost us a lot of money!

Still don't think Brian Howard can decide where he goes

If Barnsley have accepted a deal with Sheff Utd (that bit has nothing to do with Brian) and told him he won't play for Barnsley, so he won't pick up his bonuses or get to play, what choice does he have? I suppose he could always kick his heels at home for the next 9 months and choose his own club in the summer, but that's not really a choice at all.

    Cos he's contracted until 30.6.09 ...........

.......... and I would rather him play for us for the rest of the season (which according to some is what he wanted to do) than sign for the blunts for virtually **** all

I f Howard doesn't want to stay and never intend to then get shut asap.

Last thing we want is any bad feelings from Howard passing onto the rest of the squad. Yes Howard is prob these best player at the club but end of day he wants to move on. If that means selling to Sheff U and getting 750K then so be it.

Where does it say he doesn't want to play for us? As far as i can see it doesn't, im sure he would have played Saturday if Davey had picked him.

he can decide where he does not go

which amounts largely to the same thing.
