Ar lass went shopping, at the checkout the assistant was scanning the items, upon scanning a pack of cat food the assistant said "Oh, do you have a cat?" ar lass - "Yes" assistant - "I've got a cat as well, well I did have, it died of a stroke last night" (sounds to me like she's a little heavy handed when stroking her cat!) And then assistant starts crying and has to be helped away by other staff who give ar lass a look as if to say "You awful person, what did you say to her"!
