    how do i find my asdl dial up info without going thru the 50p per minute rip off tesco advice line please? Thanks

    you don't have a dialup number.

    If your browser connection (on usb modem) insists, enter 0,38 (which is your VPI and VCI.

    Which provider are you with?

    I am now in tears!!!! Spent all day with this...

    b.astard thing and had to reinstall my original internet settings. Don't know what I've done but the computers not doing what it did before I messed with it. Is there anyone free that can talk me thru it before I lob missen outof the window?

    Take a deep breath.

    Take it bit by bit.

    Is it just the software you are having problems with?

    You've got the filter plugged into the Master phone socket?

    You should install the software from the CD you'll have been given.

    Plug the Modem in to your USB and power socket. I'm assuming you use XP? It should then find the modem, and automatically make the settings.

    When you installed the software, you should have an Icon on your desktop. Double click it, enter your username & password.

    That 'should' do it.
