Hope I’m wrong but I can’t see past an Aussie win. Anderson and Broad will struggle to play in 5 tests and the strength in bowling depth without them just isn’t there. Losing Archer and Leach is a big blow and I think the Aussie bowlers will give Crawley and Duckett a good going over as openers. We’ve bent over backwards to get them acclimatised to our conditions too with Smith and Labuschagne both playing games in county cricket, then they’ve had the test against India at the Oval. Too many question marks against us for me but ‘bazball’ has amazed us all so far. Fingers crossed it does so again…..
They won’t look formidable against us. We’re the best two test sides currently in the world and there’s not much between us individually. However, our captain will get us through to a series win. COYW
