    "Rangy stirker"

"Capable of leading the line and ruffling defenders’ feathers.....may look like an angular target man, but he has a neat touch and lots more to his game.”

Seems to be well thought of and scores goals at all levels, including his England U-20's debut.

This from Man u website (never heard of him myself but I'm no premier / man u fan!)
Proved he can continue to score goals at a higher level by forcing his way into the Manchester United Under-21 line-up towards the end of 2014/15.

The Yorkshire-born striker may look like an angular target man but he has a neat touch and lots more to his game. After rising through the ranks, his goalscoring prowess at Under-16 level ensured the step up to the Under-18 squad was a formality and he is continued to progress under Paul McGuinness and his coaching staff.

Capable of leading the line and ruffling defenders' feathers, he found himself taking on greater responsibility when James Wilson stepped up to the Under-21s and flourished in his strike partner's absence.

He plundered nine goals from the opening 10 league matches in addition to making his debut for Nicky Butt's Under-19 squad in the UEFA Youth League but suffered from injury problems as the campaign wore on.

A first outing of the 2014/15 term came as a late substitute during the Lancashire Senior Cup victory at Accrington Stanley and he has impressed behind the scenes, scoring in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Bury only moments after coming off the bench.

His patience was finally rewarded with involvement for Warren Joyce's side and he ended up with three goals from 10 appearances, half of those as substitute. Always confident in his ability to find the net, he scored in each of the last three matches of the title-winning term.

from keighley i believe. look forward to seeing him with us. this whole 'signing a PL striker' thing is b0llocks though. he's not a PL striker at all. never kicked a ball in the PL. he's an U21 player, at a Club in the PL. different things.

If he's crap it will be a waste of time. If he turns out to be good then a bigger club will poach him or we make United some cash when they sell him off the back of good performances with us.

Either way it's not particularly good or beneficial to us.

But if his goals/assists enable us to climb the league then of course it's beneficial to us,

Potentially exciting signing. Seems highly rated. Just confused as to why we keep signing these youth loans when we were supposedly learning from our mistakes and looking at bringing in experience this transfer window.

Never played in a competitive fixture then.

Just the signing we've all been clamouring for.

Totally agree experience is needed; but I'll judge em at the end of the window. No way of knowing in what order signings will land.

Out of context seems a good signing. In the context of short term loan after loan not so good. I look forward to watching him play and score for us.

All the best teams have some experience. And not experience in losing experience in playing, game management and leading by example. Again the famous you don't win anything with kids line was correct. Manure like most teams had experienced players in the team to add both experience and aid development.

Tottenham are arguably the best team to watch in the prem and they are the youngest. West brom are one if not the oldest and they are **** to watch.
