We actually look a good team when we pass the football

I'll go along with that as we had a go at Bolton today but in my view fell short due to team selection and square pegs rather than effort or ability.

I can't remember us stringing 3 passes together in the either first half of the last two home games. Once we actually strung some passes together we caused all kinds of problems.

Played too much into their hands with the high balls into the box for me and they pressed us well and didn`t give us much time on the ball.

Good comeback second half after looking dead and buried at haif time but seemed to take foot of gas when we had drawn level.

We do play some nice football. The difference now being that if there isn't a simple pass forward on, instead of passing it backwards like under Hill we play it into Marlon's chest who holds it up and lays it off 90% of the time.

We missed that first half and after the Harewood/Dagnall combo had done so well I couldn`t understand Marlon being benched for O`Grady unless he were saving him for Tuesday but that doesn`t seem to have been the case.
