I would've agreed with you a couple of months ago

looked totally out of his depth.

but recently he's played really well, maybe being injured, adjusting to new country etc held him back.

He showing improvement and he's on a contract so pointless getting rid, as we would only have to pay his contract up anyway.

One for the bench in an ideal world but why not keep him on for another year? He's a defender and they tend to improve with age / experience.

 

agree wiv all mate, although i do reckon Howard will leave in summer, probably to a promoted championship club or mebbe relegated premier side? if he does we definately need to look at centre a midfield, toggy cnt even get a game when we have injuries so cant see davey sticking with him especially when hassell can do a similar job in there, johnson will surely move on and de silva is coming bk from long term injury when season starts, will need at least 2 centre midfielders i reckons!

You've got it bang on for me

I'd make sure the left back is left footed and I'd also want a left footed, left sided midfield player. Also, Coulson needs to go out loan to a league one side to see if he can cut it.

 

You've got to keep Togwell, one of the most under-rated players at the club

Just a shame he barely gets a chance. I haven't checked this but I don't think we have lost many games when he has started?
