If we get £2 million for Butts I'll be happy. I happen to think he is worth more in potential value but we're not in a strong position to hold out for a better deal.

    The Butterfield Race

Pupils from from the Rimmington-Smythe Public School line up in pairs with their legs bound together for a three legged race across a field of buttercups. Favourites for this year's race are Giles Aston and Cornelius Villa.

    Re: The Butterfield Race

What a lazy an article, if you can call it an article, more 2 lines. I wouldn't have bothered posting the link getting the hits on the Suns website.

They could have doubled the word count by adding he's been in England's Under 21's and on list for Olympic GB team.

Old news - recycled - To keep the rumour going.

    "Sources in Yorkshire" ?

So his agent lives in Yorkshire then. He's certainly working hard for his bonus.

    I don't understand that 'article'

How can Villa win the race in January and then it go to tribunal?

If his performance at West Ham is indicative as to the rest of his season....

....I'd snap their hands off at that price.

    What a poor article.......

    1) Copied from a rival paper earlier this week.
    2) Our own manager has said nobody has bid for him. Does the paper know better? Doubt it.

If he goes to Villa he will just be another bit part player like when they plucked Fabian Delph from Leeds.
