Aston Villa turn down £25 MILLION for defender

Just watching Villa & Leeds match now and the commentator says villa have rejected a £25 MILLION POUND offer for 22 year old Left Back Jordan Amavi.

Wow im lost for words.

Just looked he's played 55 games for Nice & 26 for Villa what warrants such a price tag? Am i missing something........

How much would some of our player's be worth if they were at a Villa/Newcastle... and to think Leeds offered us £300,000 for Winnall last season lol

Until those in charge at Barnsley understand that there is no difference when selling players then this situation will continue.
In saying that - things at TARN have improved markedly just recently.

 

Well it's an astonishing offer based on very little credible footballing knowledge it sould seem. Equally astonishing that Villa have rebuffed it, unless they didn't take it seriously or the player showed such little interest in going the club simply rejected the idea.

Whilst discussing valuations, how the hell do Charlton Athletic get £10million seemingly upfront for Ademola Lookman? Now fair enough he may be a prospect, but unless I've totally missed sumat his achievements to date appear to be limited to a sprinkling of goals in League One. Charlton aren't necessarily a fashionable club nor a big name. The mind boggles.

Aston Villa owner tweets about a 25 million quid offer from an as yet unknown chinese football team. Cant be owt to do with the fact that a couple of premier league teams have shown interest in signing him for a lot less, could it ?
