Astonishing looking at the current results on the poll

    The amount of stick i get on here for not being happy with Davey as manager and barely anyone on here apparantly thinking the same.
    Yet the poll suggests so far that nearly half of you would be happy for him to leave because of a sniff of a chance he might go to Preston. :D

    Anyone know what happened regarding Daveys contract being renewed. Did it ever happen?

    By the way i really dont think Davey will be leaving for Preston. Sadly!

    Its probably not that they are unhappy with Davey
    It is probably that most on here rate Jewel very highly

    If there was another poll and it was between
    Davey or Wendys Law
    Then I'm sure there would be a different response

    I think you are well and truely in the minority here regarding Davey - but time will tell
    But, got to admit you have stuck by yer guns

    I'm not a big Davey fan

    Fair play, he is having a &quot;reasonable&quot; season but I think overall he was the wrong choice.</p>

    Hope he keeps proving me wrong, but ......</p>

    i like Davey and want him to do well but

    then i always want the underdogs and those who are getting grief to do well (e.g. Sven at Man City even tho i hated him in england job). Thing is i'm not convinced and think we are about to have a run of 11 games with no wins and finish 4th bottom. will be interesting to see if Davey can turn these last 3 "poor" performances around tho i don't give a monkeys if we win and play ****

    RE: i like Davey and want him to do well but

    It might not be pretty to watch sometimes but the guy gets results. As much as I hate to mention ppg again here's his record.

    2006/07:

    P 28 PTS 35 PPG 1.25 Full Season Projection 57 pts

    2007/08

    P 16 PTS 23 PPG 1.43 Full Season Projection 66 pts

    Overall

    P 44 PTS 58 PPG 1.32

    Can't see him going 11 games without picking up a scruffy win or two. His worst record is:

    Dec/Jan 07 - 1 point out of 15 (followed by 2 successive wins)

    Mar/Apr 07 - 3 points out of 18 (followed by 3 successive wins)

    Oct 07- 2 points out of 12 (followed by 2 successive wins)

    Always seems to bounce back well after a bad run.
