From the report I heard, Dan Jarvis was praising the hospital as being a good hospital and saying the leadership would sort out the fact it's missed its waiting times targets. Not sure why you're so upset
You should stick to talking about golf. I've had the pleasure of meeting Dan several times through my work in education and he's a great bloke. He will attend the most 'grass roots' community meetings, he replies personally to letters sent to him. I can't imagine what this is based on other than the fact that he is an out-of-towner for a change rather than a Yorkshireman. The bloke is a credit to our town
Met him on more than one occasion. Decent bloke and seems genuinely passionate about the town, its issues and its people, a damn sight more so than a lot of people who were born here too. Not too shabby for an 'outsider' imo
