We were fortunate in that although Barnsley created some good chances, on the day, they could not have hit a cow's backside with a banjo.

Both sendings off were ridiculous and a significant amount of time was eaten up by the ref constantly stopping play (where do they get these guys from???).

Although you could not have said a draw was unfair you could not have begrudged Barnsley a win as they battled like mad (especially after the sending off) but if we were to have sneaked a win you would have felt Barnsley were badly done to.

 

Not wanting to appear naive but....

...its nice to read something positive about you own team from fan of the opposition. More times than not I visit opposing sites to gauge opinion after the match or to voice my own but more times than not a slagging match ensues.

Good on the fans that can still have a banter without all the nastiness.
