as a family we follow www.flightradar24.com and get all giddy with the info. When we landed at Manchester this summer, my Mother in law texted that we were down safe ! ! Which was pleasing to know. :)

I like the fact you can click on any plane, and on the left you get all the info possible about it. Which is clever, in a sad-plane-spotter-kinda-way.
I also like scrolling over to the US Eastern seaboard area and wondering to myself "How the fook do they manage all that lot". :)

Not forgetting that you can point your phone/iPad at the plane flying overhead and it tells you where it's taken off from and where it's flying to, definitely one of my favourite apps....chuff me I sound like a plane spotter

Yeah it is fascinating really but I can only spend 5 minutes at a time on it. My mate used to track planes for their full journey for 5 hours or so. Just random planes, suppose it didn't help that we worked bang next to Luton Airport so he could physically watch them land haha!

Oh God.... it's a good job it's cloudy, I'd never get any work done. I've already worked out that my house is on the main flightpath from USA to Frankfurt, Canada to India, and London to Aberdeen.
