    We are trimming the squad & cutting the wage bill ......

    ........ pity we aren't bringing in any Championship standard players to replace them.

    The cynical fan may think this 'transfer window' is being utilised to save money rather than spending it, but Barnsley FC wouldn't be doing that, would they?

    So he played enough to show he was nothing special? He showed David Nugent up for 90 minutes in one of his rare games. What's the point of the academy? We might as well get rid as it's a ***** investment that's producing jack ****.

    Maybe he refused to sit on the 'Christiansen bucket' in training ...

    ...... you can't honestly believe that Davey makes judgements purely on their footballing ability, if so Oddjob would be long gone and Christiensen/Johnson would have had more than 20 mins on the pitch before Davey told them to **** off

    He played 8 league games in 5 years.

    Utterley pointless keeping him, 4th choice CB at best. Not good enough at this level.

    Poor old Mossto, he was going to play v Donny before ...

    ..... he had to dash off to Peru, ha ha, that was a beauty that one SD - leave him out in the cold for months, then when he buggers off home, say that he was going to be in the team! what a pillock

    and then after freezing him out of the squad for months, after sending him out on loan to a different country the best course of action is to say that he struggled to adapt to the english game. I was shocked that he was having difficulty adaping to our game while he was on loan in peru and then when he was back here but not given a run in the side OR reserves.

    Once again we let one of our scholars go for sh*g all

    I know where in a financial melt down but why do we continue to off load our academy players for naff all, it's ridiculous at this rate we may aswell get rid of the academy and rape the other clubs like they are doing to us it stinks!!!!!!!!!!
