Which would you now prefer to play the possibility of a very good centre half and continue playing him and giving him chances, or use paul reid.
Atkinson - Reid Too Slow...... He'll make the odd mistake but looks a good prospect - League 1 is best Reid can hope for
Why is Reid too slow? Loads of "slow" defenders that have been successful in the game (even at the highest level).</p> It's not all that important for a CB to be fast - unless you decide to stand him on thehalf way line and allow your opponents to bash long balls over the top all game long.</p> Arguably, only consistently poor defenders need pace.</p>
