    Atmosphere and oakwell don't go together

    I honestly cannot remember a good atmosphere since hull city 4 season ago

    Tbf every time I've been to Selhurst Park there's been a good atmosphere, even when Palace haven't been doing so well.

    Selhurst Park has a drummer to get the crowd going..........can you remember the last time this was mentioned on here...........nowt but an avalanche from the mornji, flask carrying, dull brigade !!!
    Consequently the drummer was banned.

    AND..........if an atmosphere was created like that at Oakwell.........I'm sure the present administrators at the club would send the police in to break it up.

    There is still a very large and conservative element at Oakwell that tries to stifle any sort of exuberance.

    its nothing to do with Oakwell, its apathy after years and years of extreme 'ordinary' give the fans something to shout about and there will be an atmosphere, we didn't have any trouble ion the Clarke / Hunter days or when we were on the march to and in the Prem etc
    And Nudger, you want a drummer you sit next to the fkr cos I'm not

    Oakwell probably has one of the worst home atmospheres in the Country. It's a bit embarrassing really.

    A think a drummer in each stand with smoke machines blowing as much red smoke in the ground as possible would be brilliant.......we could get some geezers doing a bit of MC'ing aswell.
