19, which includes 19 Everton fans.

    I hope.

I know what you mean mate.... The FA allowing these under 21 sides has taken the piss out of a cup competition that was not that taken seriously in the first place. I wonder how long its gonna take them to realise this and the fact that the lower leagues see their inclusion as a total piss take from the premier league.

Not missed a game that I could go to for years.

I'll be missing this one. FA bilge. it's just wrong.

On eticketing it looks like we've only sold a few hundred and that's with one stand open and sections of that not being sold. Still a few hundred too many mind.

It will be the first time in 14 years that I will have not been to a home game in any competition through choice. Only game I missed was in 2012 when I was best man at a wedding.

The feeling that we are against u21 opposition gives no appeal to me whatsoever. You can’t even blood your own in games like these against these youngsters as the competitive element of men’s first team football is taken away.

We are heading for a full u23s final sooner rather than later and what sort of attendance would that be. Shambolic by the FA. Grinds my gears.

How have the EFL clubs allowed this to happen is what pisses me off? Surely they have voted about this? It needs an EFL boycott to ensure this shîte doesn't happen again.

£6 for me and my lad to watch the reds, nice evening out for us can't see much of a problem. Boycotting only hurts the club not the people who put the competition together, it gives some of our players who have been injured or not getting any game time a chance for match fitness.

I think it needs to be an united boycott mate and it should've never been allowed to happen. I think if it's cheap then perhaps parents who can't afford to go get the opportunity, but the competition would be fantastic if the youth teams were not in it and that pricing structure stood.

Totally agree. I can't make Tuesday but that's only because I'm in Hull until 6. I see why people are boycotting as I don't necessarily agree about the format of the competition BUT it's cheap to see Barnsley play.

I'd prefer it if the u21s weren't in it, it does show a lack of respect to our our players intermating that league one is only the equivalent to Premier leagues kids, so really we should win comfortably or play our second string or the u21s are a good match for league 1 teams. However it turns out I'll see tomorrow.

I would expect an attendance under 1,000. Could be our lowest ever.

I applaud anyone choosing to miss this. Anyone going is supporting the notion that this is a viable competition.

Id be surprised if most clubs actually gained any money from the change once the huge drop in attendance, additional matchday cost player wages, player fatigue and injuries and general bad feeling from customers was taken into account.
