At the meeting the other day did anybody ask about the attendances or question the acuracy of their recording?
Could open a reyt can of worms. Best left IMO. The club are either telling the truth or we don't want/need to know about it.
as people go through the turnstiles it clicks a counter which registers directly on the computer ,how many pass through in that stand.
right. Well that solves that hopefully. Perhaps attendances are accurate. Though Leicester match at end of last season was definitely not recorded accurately.
They arn't are they?? Surely not every foot pedal is wired up to a counter? I thought they counted the tickets from each turnstile. Probably why they don't announce it until the end of the game.
Thought it used to be a well known trick to add a few hundred/thou to a sh!te gate and knock a few off a good one to even things up. As long as the average attendance is accurate at season end and the tax man gets the correct cut at season end then it never used to matter. Don't know if you can get away with it now though, especially as different prices can be charged on the day depending on category of match or any special promotion, e.g. kid for a quid.
and.............. the gateman writes a number on the back of each ticket and bundles them up-presumably a double check
Paul.......... I posted something last night on here that I think you could check quickly. What's our record like of being live on Sky Sports or On Digital? I'm pretty sure we have a good record when the cameras are on us.
