It's because nobody gives a toss about the FA Cup any more. Premier League has completely devalued it.
People pay a lot out for football to start with without extra games, and when there teams you'll see anyway it even harder to find the cash,
I dont think anyone who didn`t go are cnuts at all, everyone does as they please they are not beholden to the club or fellow fans. I only went because I am of a dying breed that like the FA Cup.
its hard for me to explain what i mean in writing but i'll try anyway, when i was a young un school mates who we're man utd / liverpool "FANS" who wanted to watch football had to go to there nearest ground to watch it, so they went with there dad or mates paying a 5er or a 10er, now days at 18 or 28 it just don't happen if kids or dads want to watch football these days they pay £60 a month for sky instead and watch 6 games a week,
