if its a 'YES' have they said what they will do about things like

    TV licences
    Vehicle road Tax
    Passports
    Armed Forces
    Railways

There must be a huge list of everyday taken for granted things that no one seems to be mentioning.

All I am hearing about is the currency, North sea Oil/Gas, and benefits. What about all those minor things that will eventually mount up to become a major undertaking.

There are a lot of unanswered questions out there regarding independence.

    absolutely

what about the Postal service too. British Telecom. These may sound trivia to some, but the independence thing just does not seem to have been totally thought out to me. If they get it good luck to them, but they are going to have to work close to the rest of the island to make it work out..... so far I am getting the feeling its just another 'BraveHeart' movie to the majority of the 'Yes' voters.

I think that is why Independence is delayed until March 2016 to get everything sorted out.

It will surely be a NO vote, surely we are better off together...stronger...I'm no expert but its what I believe..

At least if it is yes we don't have to pretend to like Andy Murray anymore...;)

TV licences - We Don't pay them.
Vehicle road Tax - We avoid at every oportunity
Passports - We'll get out own
Armed Forces - Dont need them
Railways - We'll keep what we have.

    Sorted.

Seriously mate all these points and more will be addressed after the election is won. This is where I believe all the doubts over money, share of debts, oil and gas, trade relations will be sorted out between both countries once all the bickering and veiled threats are out of the way.
That is how I see and believe it will happen. Separation will not be done on 19th September that date will give both countries the green light to start the process.

and will the Union Jack become obsolete too.

if so all the Royal Navy's flags will have to change too, as will Australia's among others. Might be a good time to get into the Flag making industry.

Don't see why mate. Don't 2 or 3 US States have the Union flag in their state flag? No reason why England can't keep the U J as their own. A wee bit of Scotland there to remember us by.

You have just switched on Johnny.
Correct England is better off whilst better together. Not so in Scotland's case. As a nett contributer to the Union we will be better apart.

Now you know the real reason for Westminster's panic in all this.

All the political parties will to have a shake up and the trade unions too

the party funds will have to be divvied out as will Trade Union funds too.... its gonna create a helluva mess . I can see it taking years to properly achieve. For both sides of the wall.

Should separation be achieved it will not be the first time two countries have divided or merged. Czech and Slovak republics spring to mind and both Germanys unifying. I'm absolutely positive there were problems to overcome, and they did it.
So we will do it after all it will be in Englands own interest to be as cooperative as possible and not obstructive as they are ATM.

This is the bit I don't get. Seems like this is Scotland Vs Westminster in your mind. Can you tell me a few positive things that independence will give you Arabian Ian specifically that you don't get today? Not trying to be disrespectful, but I'm trying to understand what you believe will be the benefits other than the emotion of nationalism.

they do not realise that they are shafted mainly by Europe as we all are now. You can blame Mel Gibson for that outlook.

    Re: bugger that

And Johnny I'm no expert either but I refuse to read news papers.

The internet is there with both sides of the debate and it really does come down as to which side you believe or want to believe.

There are lots of issues to be discussed here. Money, defence, tax, utilities etc etc. All very important you will admit.

This week the NO campaign decided to focus on..... guess what? ASDA putting prices up. Obviously having lost every other argument they focused their tirade of lies on the elderly and the poorest in the country. Now I say lies because I took the opportunity last week to call ASDA Head Office and asked them direct, telling them I was recording the conversation, should Scotland become independent would they put up prices as mentioned on SKY News. My answer was no and SKY were not voicing ASDA's view. The guy I spoke to also said and I quote. "You and I both know where SKY stand in this referendum"

The power of the press. Believe none of it.

    Re: bugger that

I suppose one of the first things would be we will live under a government we voted in.
Secondly we in the UK live a hugely unfair society. Lords and Peers, millionaires all shafting and squeezing the poor, elderly and sick for as much as they can get out of them. I hope to think an Independent Scotland will be free of things like that going on.
The removal of Trident will save the Scottish tax payer billions and hopefully that money better spent on Hospitals, schools and other worthwhile causes and not bomb of mass destruction.

Many more benefits to be had, we just need the opportunity to implement them and that can only come with independence.
