<p class="ss-text-bold">Skysports.com understands Barnsley are hoping to sign wantaway Gretna defender Aurelien Collin. </p> </p> </p> Collin, along with team-mate Mickael Buscher, have asked to leave Gretna following their move into administration. </p> </p> The French pair have asked Fifa for dispensation to leave Raydale Park and find new clubs even though the transfer window is closed. </p> </p> Collin has impressed at Gretna this season, with his performances attracting the interest of a host of clubs. </p> </p> The 22-year-old's agent, Simon Stainrod, has confirmed Barnsley are one of a host of clubs chasing the former Real Mallorca man. </p> </p> "Barnsley have expressed an interest in Aurelien but we are waiting to see what will happen with Fifa," Stainrod told skysports.com. </p> </p> "They are one of a number of clubs keen on signing Aurelien, with teams from England, France and Germany all keen on him. </p> </p> "We are working on trying to get special dispensation from Fifa to allow Aurelien to move to a new club. </p> </p> "He just wants to get his future sorted and get back to playing. </p> </p> Stainrod also represents Buscher and the agent revealed the striker could stay in Scotland with some SPL clubs registering an interest in his services. </p> </p> "There has been interest in Mickael from a number of Scottish clubs and we will see what offers come along," added Stainrod. </p>
