Watched in horror last night, whilst drinking a bottle of red wine, as they disected a woman who had died of circulatory problems.
Bleedin' 'ell fire - I dunno why I kept watching, I was transfixed.
It's on all week - tonight it's on cancer.
Whilst I firmly believe that this is of utmost importance to the medically inclined, who no doubt get chance to go and see this stuff, I am not sure what value it has to the general populace, on Channel 4, competing against snooker and movies.
Having said that, I'm toying with the idea of looking in tonight. Am I wierd?

what better way to illustrate the dangers of fatty food, smoking and drinking, than to have someone hold up the evidence and show it to you. I think it's pretty good tv, although I'd rather just have footage of the disection, and not of the audience making stupid faces.
Point taken - yes there is that I suppose - and the clamping of the artery followed by insertion of red dye, to demonstrate what the lack of blood flow to a vital organ looks like was....er awesome.
It did look like the contents of an abbatoir skip though.

PLus there is the opportunity for people to educate themselves. You can always turn it off if its not something you want to see.
That program was good but obviously a tad gross if you're of that disposition. Should make it compulsive viewers to all smokers of 16 though!!
Oh aye Tossed myself silly over it. Must dash, got an unfeasibly attractive young lass on a yacht waiting for me.
RE: What time is it on? Iv'e missed it. Good educational stuff.Seen a few on TV. Don't like to see it done on kids though. Takes away the fear of having one done and you know when they have finished with you that you are well and truly Dead. No coming out of a "death like coma" to suffocate in your grave ,or wake up with a sweat on in the Crem.
