Gone are the days of the 30000 + crowds - atmosphere was incredible in those games :-(

 

I reckon we will have our lowest average attendance for the 2nd tier this season. What we at now?

 

10,148 only 32 in front of the Pikey's but they've had their two big home fixtures.

 

Leeds is one, what's the other seeing as we haven't played them?

 

That really is poor. Can't see many 15k+ crowds when I look down the fixtures. Leeds obviously but any more? West Ham maybe with it being near end of season, they will bring plenty.

 

Can't see many getting above 12k tbh.

 

Hull, they brought 2,668 for a Tuesday night game. I missed off their other big game they've already had West Ham at home, they brought 3,211. So we have three good away followings there yet to come to Oakwell. They've extended the away end at the Keepmoat too, it now holds 4,300 (part of the side stand)

 

So the gates have fallen as the prices have trebled..

 

It depends how you look at it, since ive been watching the reds the average has more than doubled, it it doubles again in the next 20 years...
