There is not one ounce of ambition at the club,it will just carry on satified with the position it is in,and if relegated this season the club will struggle in league one because the powers that be will be satisfied with that also,I fear this club is on a downward spiral and its anyones guess where it will end.
...........careful but proper investment...........i.e. money spent carefully and regularly Relatively poor wages is a recipe for an unsettled side.............just look at all the GOOD players that have come and gone in the last 5 years because other Championship clubs are able to pay a few thousand quid a week more. Barnsley Football Club is a revolving door as far as the players are concerned We have not been able to build one single team since Pat Cryne took over at the club Hence we have been in the relegation zone for the last few years and the crowds reflect this..........the directors will fully understand this We will always be in PCs debt since he saved the club.............but time now for a new owner
Both those teams have received massive amounts of investment, "we" couldn't do anything about that unless someone else buys our club and our board has had us up for sale for a while now.
Investment at the right time with the person in charge. Long term strategies from the powers that be. Consistency.
With the right person in charge too. The last time we were investing in the side we had the wrong person in charge of the side... For the record I mean SD.
