Anyone know a good 'un that's free, let's you convert more than 5 minutes worth on it's trial version and doesn't leave a dirty great watermark on your video! Ps. Oh - and one which can decode the x-vid codec!
Try Super O I have found it answers all my needs Sorry if it's not what you are looking for but it does everything as fat as I can see. I think it was Revvie P who recommended it to me ages ago and it's the most brilliant free programme on the net if you are into film making.
RE: How long does it take to convert to DVD? i use a program called dvd santa. from start to finish it usually takes short of 2 hours.
AVIDVD Burner takes about 45 minutes or so. BUT it all depends on your processor , memory and Hard drive speed . whichever is slowest will choke it to that speed. Another factor is the AVI or DivX file itself, the size and even the quality of the film, If its a crappy cam it takes less time than a screener or a rip. down to the algorythems or summat.
