at least 3 sell outs with Newcastle Villa and Wednesday.. those 3 alone should bring more than the entire away attendance over the 23 league 1 games this season, then u have Rotherham Birmingham Huddersfield Derby Wolves and Forest... some exciting games next season
Villa? Are they a Super-power all of a sudden? I'm sure they'll bring plenty, but 6,000? Only if they're top of the league.
Villa won't sell out, their fans have given up on them. It's going to take a few seasons of rebuilding for them to win fans back. Newcastle will for sure though, as will Leeds, Wednesday and Derby.
Not sure about Derby either. They come in numbers if they're doing well. However, we can pretty much bank on 2k or more from the following Wednesday Rotherham Derby Forest Newcastle Villa Leeds Huddersfield And depending how other teams are doing, they have the potential to bring more.
Great for business in town also Instead of 250+ gillingham, port vale,Fleetwood fans we'll have 4K+ Newcastle, forest, villa,Norwich,Huddersfield,Leeds,Wednesday, Derby,Rotherham,Birmingham, wanting something to eat & drink
He didn't quite get that right. 4,000 was the number of Wendies that were sat in the home end because they couldn't get tickets in the away end.
I was on about this with some lads at work. I reckon that we'll take more in gate receipts from Newcastle and Wednesday than we did the entirety of last season in the league. And Leeds will cover what we took in the cups. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
I was talking to my Wendy neighbour, it was typical pig "we didn't turn up, it's a shame because there was 40 err I think 45 thousand Weds fans there...." I replied "you didnt get that many tickets" it'll be 55k by the end of the week.
