Away fan ban in Turkey/Istanbul

    was lifted in September(?) meaning away fans are now allowed at the Istanbul derbies between Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Besiktas.

    Along with heap flights and easy to obtain tickets, these games has been interesting again!

    Given what happened at besiktas this weekend, theres a lot safer intetesting games to go to in europe, dont u think.

    There probably are, but Turkey is one country I haven't ticked off my footballing map yet. I've done Belgrade, so the next step is Istanbul!

    Anyway, the point of the original post was in the hope another BBSer had visited a Turkish match, or least Istanbul.

    We're a well travelled bunch on here if some of the previous threads are anything to go by :)
