honestly, the footage where drivers have died is astonishing to watch now.. theres 1 driver, name escapes me, who tries to help a driver who is burning alive, trying to stop other cars and flag em down, stop race but they all carry on.. its a great watch anyway.. eye-opening..

Fell asleep watching match of the day last night and woke up when this was starting. Put sky plus on but ended up watching it. Knackered at work this morning but worth it.

I don't really have any interest in F1 but this documentary was great. If not a bit horrific in parts seeing men burn to death.

I never realised how unsafe the sport used to be until I watched this. A million miles away from what we watch these days

I remember it happening at the time,I think the drivers were both brits Roger Williamson and David Purley...I haven't seen it for years but Williamson(i think) is distraught when the fire extinguisher runs out....very sad.
