Blackpool were awful, in fact they were worse. I never get predictions right but I am sticking £100 on them going down. We conceded two but the result was never in doubt.
6 goals and yet rubbish, if it was on FL Show and last the same people who said it was rubbish would be moaning.
Football is an entertainment sport. Today we were entertained and i for one am well happy with that! Its a long time i've come away from Oakwell feeling as happy as I was today. More of the same please
Blackpool are poor so are crewe, port Vale, Fleetwood who we failed to beat at home. Even when we beat Gillingham at home who were top people we saying they're **** too. Burton looked well organised to me and we beat them. Can't win with some folk can only beat what's in front of you.
Really can't get my breath ...I must know nothing about football because I enjoyed it - Played well and midfield was far more effective - Williams looked sharp when he came on - hope he can stay fit
I'm not saying we were poor today, I thought we looked a lot better and more creative than recently but Blackpool were fecking atrocious however you can only beat what's in front of you and we did. I hope we play as well on Saturday.
Blackpool had won their last 3 prior to today. Today they were a long way off winning. They may have been poorer today than in their last 3 but I'm sure it's partly down to us making them look bad. If you apply pressure at the correct times and play at a high tempo then most teams are going to make mistakes and give the ball away, that doesn't necessarily make them atrocious.
We played well but they were atrocious and I honestly think we'd have beaten them even if we'd played poorly. I can't remember seeing as many unforced errors or misplaced passes in professional football. I'm really glad we won and I hope this kick starts our season but we won't play a side so poor again so we need to keep to the standard we set today.
