Im no leeds fans. But how much are city arabs paying the ref. Every decision for 95 mins gone cities way. He can not wait to blow. Shouldnt be allowed to ref a prem match again biased ****
Didnt watch it but refs are horrendous all over in this country. The fa have had to apologise 4 separate times to Brighton this season - and thats only for major wrong decisions. Leeds got their fair share of dodgy refs on their side in the championship though. Remember when Wood got fouled a mile outside box and got gave as a penalty?!
What the f.u,ck have you got for eyes. Leeds wete lucky Haaland had an off day it should've been 6 before Leeds fouled Gundo in the build up to their consolation goal. This Man City side is the best that has played in the history of the Premier League, if they win the treble considering the quality now in the PL compared to then when United did it it will completely eclipse Man Uniteds achievements, they'll win the PL for the next 5 years at this rate. Arab money - show some respect ffs look at what they've done to regenerate the city.
Pretty sure it was 4 minutes added on, so he played an extra minute, an extra minute in which Leeds could have equalised. Some people always look for ways to bash City - and Pep in particular - when really we should marvel at the side he has constructed. And I don't have a soft spot for them at all, but I can appreciate greatness when I see it.
I must have watched a different match to you , I thought the ref had a decent match & do not think there were any back handers being handed out if that is what you are suggesting .
I'm not for a second saying he is, but it's harsh to dig him out over a 2-1 loss given the massive gulf between quality of squads. I think a lot of his bluster is a calculated attempt to take the pressure of the players. It'll be interesting to see if it works.
September 2016 Sam Allardyce has reportedly resigned as England's soccer manager, the Telegraph reported on Tuesday. On Monday, the Telegraph published secret video of Allardyce allegedly using his position as England manager to negotiate a deal worth £400,000 ($518,460) in which he would reportedly give advice to businessmen on how to "get around" FA rules regarding third-party ownership. The businessmen in the video, however, were actually undercover journalists. Allardyce can be seen in the video saying that third-party ownership is still possible. "It’s not a problem," he said in the video. “It was a great honour for me to be appointed back in July and I am deeply disappointed at this outcome," he said in a statement. (He means deeply disappointed at being caught) Fraud, liar, cheat, sacked (sorry resigned) from England job due to being found out. Now manager of Leeds bound for relegation with 3 games to go He'll get a massive payoff No wonder the game is in such a sorry state
If your definition of 'best' is the most effective and efficient I'd have to agree. But if it's the most entertaining then I certainly wouldn't. Peps style bores me 90% of the time. It can be almost like watching chess. The majority of the passes aim to create space and then once it's there they inject pace and take advantage and for me that's the only interesting bit. Controversial I know but imo Pep has done massive damage to the game I loved.
How often do you watch them bud? Sometimes it is 'boring', primarily when they're just seeing the game out or when they're just holding the ball waiting for the opposition to make a mistake/tire out. But when they're at it, regularly putting 4,5,6,7 goals past teams, they're an absolute joy to watch. The games against Bayern a few weeks ago, they were a fantastic watch.
I'd like to defend chess as a spectator sport/game. I have seen a good number of exciting chess matches.
Obvious local interest wi Stones. Pep has rebuilt his early Barcelona side as much as possible without a Messi in the centre. one too many passes at times and with Harland in the middle they are having to learn getting the ball in quicker. sadly once they do it's looking like a one team league.
