    Some of their fans seem convinced he's definitely joining them subject to wages being sorted out. I can't see it myself.

    True enough, but it might suit him domestically to come back to South Yorkshire. No idea if he moved his whole household down south but if he didn't the attractions of playing in Sheffield are obvious.

    On the other hand.......would he really want to ply his trade with such a shabby club? I really hope not.

    I hope not but most footballers go where the money is. They don't see things quite the same way as us fans.
