Society day out for Blades Sheffield United players Chris Morgan and Phil Jagielka will be out in Penistone meeting fans and signing autographs on Thursday 16th February. The pair will be visiting the Yorkshire Building Society branch on the High Street for an hour from 3pm as they promote the Blades Savings Account to fans and make a presentation to one lucky Blades fan. The Blades Savings Account gives supporters a great rate of interest on their savings whilst at the same time giving the Club's Youth Academy an annual cash boost based on the balances. The account can be opened for just £100, or £1 for under 18's. Anyone opening an account when the players are in the branch will be given two tickets for the United home game against Crewe on 3rd March. Whilst in Penistone the soccer duo will also present Jane Slater with a signed Sheffield United shirt, her prize from a Christmas raffle held at Yorkshire Building Society. The raffle was one of a number of activities carried out by staff at the building society throughout December to raise money for two charities - The Princess Royal Trust for Carers and The Children's Trust. Jane said "I was delighted when I got the call to say I'd won the shirt signed by the players of my favourite football team and to be presented with it by Chris and Phil is a real bonus." Anyone wanting to see the two players should arrive at the branch no later than 3.45pm to avoid disappointment. Journalists and photographers are invited to attend. http://www.sufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/PromotionsDetail/0,,10418~766394,00.html
