During some research I've come across this badge (attached file) that apparently represented the Club. I've never seen the bloody thing before does anyone know anything about it?
There were some badges around in the 70's ........ ..... and probably earlier than that, for the Barnsley FC Supporters Club, when it was based in the old Social Club at the corner of the Ponty
The badge in question represented the Club in one of the Rothman's Yearbooks as their badge. A possible mix-up?
Not sure mate ..................summat tells me that ........ .... the old supporters badge had 'BFSC' on it, although 'Barnsley Football Supporters Club' doesn't seem quite right, and later it was known as BFCSC, so it's an odd one that, I reckon some of the lads who were regulars at games in the late 60's and early 70's will remember it though
Thats a 1950s Supporters Issue This is a 60's version [img=http://img186.imageshack.us/img186/7636/ba1960ssupportersclubcolc2.jpg][/ Much better in my opinion, also very rare.
RE: Thats a 1950s Supporters Issue I think that's one of the first ever Barnsley Supporter's badges which was made by Fattorini. They fetch quite a bit whenever one pops up on Ebay. Turvey old bean, how you getting on with that stuff?
Still waiting for it to turn up !! Saying that Phil said he was going to send it this week. The DVDs from me to you have been done for weeks. I was going to send everything back to you in one shipment.
Eh!?..... No i didn't mate..... There seems to be certain things coming on the market of late.... Right then, i'll get the Mrs to get the winning Lotto numbers in, arf! If you PM your address again mate i'll get a package off to you before monday
And another thing...... I've got a great pic of the Reds' winning moment against Swansea in the Play Offs..... Fancy a copy? It's got the team running along in unison with all the flags from Tarn in the background. It's an A4 size plus another 4/5 inch on the border to left and top (dunno)
