Anybody want to take on a football news site? You'll get stick off this BBS and from the club itself, you don't earn enough in a quarter to afford one ticket to one game and the only reason you do it is so people who care about the club have another news source. Can't really be arsed anymore.

RE: to succeed ................ it does. a lot of the stories do not appear on official site, and all match previews, reports and interviews are my own. to be honest i'm not doing it to be successful. but can't be arsed with people being petty.

RE: to succeed ................ although i would point out that it's more of a success than i thought it would be. my stories usually get more hits than similar stories on the official site. web traffic has also gone up 2000% since i took over.

You might not be able to post direct links on here to your stories but we can all access it via your www button at the bottom of your posts.</p> I'm sure site admin wouldn't mind you posting on here when you have made updates to your site so that people know to go and check it out.</p> Well I think I'm sure.</p> All I know is that I've forgotten to check you site much since links with withdrawn from the BBS but I'll definitely check it out more now.</p>

RE: Exactly Thanks, I usually only post links on here when it's something that hasn't been mentioned or when someone asks for something. Have updated the pictures on there recently so they aren't all two years old anymore. I think the main advantage over the official site is you don't have to register to view my articles - hence they get more hits.
RE: to succeed ................ It's not pissed us off at all. However, Vital can't expect free advertising on websites that they are not prepared to link to themselves.
but teamtalk footyMAD, rivals, bbc, official site and all the others can? seems a bit of an odd criteria lol Google only lists 6 sites as linking to www.barnsleyfc.org.uk
RE: why dont you ditch vital and setup on your own then? i'm happy with vital really. but am considering exactly that.
