Despite a few threads today, I dont think anyone is actually too worried about our back 4 options at the moment.
But just in case you are....
This was our back 4 versus Cardiff in 2003:
Alex Neil, Lee Crookes, Ant Kay, David Mulligan
Kind of puts things in perspective.

Alex Neil never played in the back 4 If this is the game you're referring to http://www.soccerbase.com/results3.sd?gameid=383582 Then Austin was one of the full backs. We almost won the game too.
Corrected Did OK, good penalty and unlucky to concede.
Locked in for over an hour afterwards. That was the game that the Five-O decided to come and play with the Cardiff *****.

The only one of that team who I miss And if we suspended time and had availlable today didnt even start Wonder why Gorre was on the bench - coming back from injury? (+ I still think Kay has it at this level but the manager doesnt and as long as we have Souza Foster and Nyatanga I wont argue too much) Kevin Donovan - now there is a player its good to see the back of I reckon I could have contributed more - and in 2003 I was still playing 5 a side so probably could have run about more than he did as well
RE: Visiting the brewery? nt nope, working in guildford.
There are worse places to visit Aldershot for a start! Guildford is OK though I dont go out there in the evening much - too much of a pain to get there and back without driving
got one or two things to sort out before I know what i'm doing saturday, I'll drop you a note later in the week

RE: There are worse places to visit I go to guildford pretty regular, trafficis manic, I thought up here was bad but its nowt at side of that. Although, nowt beats coming out of a meeting at 5pm and then having to crawl round the M25 and then slog up the m1.

Doing that on Friday is great though Loads of time to get through all the CD's in your autochanger before you get to Luton I've given up going up on a Friday - its much more pleasant to leave Early Saturday morning
