After a fortnight of over eating, excessive alcohol intake, sunburn, mosquito attraction, 1,600 miles of driving, near 100f heat and one bout of the squits I have arrived back in Blighty.

    What have I missed?

I'd like to know too, after just returning from a similar time in Cuba (less the driving).

Seems that COG was discussing terms with Charlton, but turned them down on personal terms. So did we accept an offer for him? Was the fee announced?

Fee was muted and speculated, but as will all.bfc deals it will never be disclosed.
Apparently his wage demands were too high (i still think he will go)

Plenty of young uns signed pro contracts.

Any deals will be done towards end of month. Danny has made loads of offers and has plenty of irons in fire.
Players always waiting to see what offers they get.

Talk of o'brian and cywka not signing there contracts
Dawson hasn't signed a new deal (but deal may still be on table!)

It appeared Daws was on his way before I went away, so there is still a possibility he's keeping his options open and still may sign? I know he has has critics, but I think he'd be a damn fine player for us next season. I hope he stays.

Good that a lot of youngsters have signed full contracts too - that is something I think most of us want to see next season.

    Where do we start?

First Danny Wilson signed 23 new players, then we all became millionaires when Owen Coyle became the new Celtic manager, then Wilson got sacked, then we appointed mourinho, then we got rick Asian owners, and finally the football league announced that they would actually enforce FFP and we ended up getting promoted last season, not relegated.

I'm still in the USA until Saturday. I'm guessing you've missed any mention of the world cup!

Back from the US, back from the US, back from the USSR.

You've missed nowt, the club have been waiting until you got back before announcing anything, although now EastStander is in the states we'll have to wait until he gets back now.
