What was your nickname when you was at school and when was the last time someone called it you. I used to be called ketch for some strange reason and after 15 years later someone called it me
Due to having Herring as a surname, my nickname was always Kippers. Despite various Stephen Fry wannabees over the years thinking they're being original, I'd heard every fish related 'joke' before I'd left Infant school.
Last name Kemp so creative thinking led to Kempy. Still gets used too by some, which I don't mind tbh.
mouse or mousey at school, but used toget yorky in the army sometimes, ex g/f used to call me sex dwarf or if she was in a bad mood **** stick, i'll usually answer to anything especially "trev do you want a sambucca"
Never had a nickname until I went to uni, then I got 'Barnsley'. A lad from South Africa who's over here teaching with me calls me Barno, but that's it. I usually get Luke as I'm not cool enough for much else!
Nez. Hence username. Last called it a couple of weeks back or so when Jay shouted me asking where our young un was. Been called it since I was 5
Surname is Holliday so I have always had a nickname of Doc after the famous gunsliging dentist still get called it regularly When I was a Student I was one of 3 daves in the same block - I was Dave from Barnsley which soon got shortened to just Barnsley - havent been called that for years though
infant 'SCHOOL' loving it... sorry to 'carp' on about it. I don't normally 'Skate' around issues like this. Especially here on the 'Net', guess I am just 'Angling' for response. Sorry to attempt 'baiting' you like this , I bet its getting a bit 'Fin' on the ground now.
Re: infant 'SCHOOL' And I rest my case. Although, in all fairness, you're still the same height as all the kids in Infant school were.
Jamie Sommers the bionic woman back in infant school when that was on telly. Didn't like it at the time but now I wish it had stuck. Then Jamie and his Magic Torch including the song. Quite like that too now. Err, my name's Jamie, sort of, it's really James, but I answer to just about owt beginning with J. Then Brownie (or Brarnie in a Barnsley accent) through juniors and seniors. My surname is Brown, so that took some imagination. Then Jay from my first day at Uni, which is basically what I use as my name now. Also Barnsley at Uni, particularly during the 96-97 season. I got much drunker on the Monday I went back to Uni than the Saturday night in Barnsley after the Bradford match. People were just coming up to me and buying me drinks because to them I was Barnsley and I'd personally been promoted to the Premier League.
Ugga. Mr C was probably the last to use it on here, but in the real world it was some random bloke in my local who obviously knew me but I hadn't a clue who he was ( mixture of alcohol, old age and cr@p memory anyway )
