Zetland you have no credibility after your last rant and subsequent disappearing act. I suspect you're a WUM.
M.K. dare I ask what is a WUM. and when I find out I'll protest vehemently that I'm no such thing! On a serious note we have a team of poor players - question is are they poor and unalterable or are they talented players playing badly. If you think they're good players playing badly then you are right to criticise Davey. If on the other hand like me you think they're basically not good players then Davey should not be getting the level of criticism aimed at him. Although I would say that he must accept some responsibility for them being at Oakewll but he has by all accounts had a very limited budget to work with.
RE: very limited budget? We get a nose bleed if we spend a £1M on a player. Most teams in this division wouldn't blink at the thought.
A WUM is a wind up merchant, somebody who plants an inflammatory or contentious post knowing it will get a reaction. If you're not a WUM and your question is genuine then can I ask you this: If the players are poor and Davey bought them then who's fault is it? And if they are good players playing badly then again who's fault? All roads lead to Simon Davey I'm afraid.
we haven't spent a large amount since Davey became manager. Not compared to the teams paying 3m per player. But they are Daveys players. To me they are much better players than when Davey took over. It's now his job to get them playing as a much better team....
Bosman's command higher signing on fees and higher wages though. Im not suggesting for a minute we've spent the likes of £3m a player, but dont be fooled into thinking Davey hasn't been backed financially.
I agree Dan he's been backed. Which is why Cryne is giving him the chance to work his "plan". However if we show no sign of improving by end of September think Cryne will pull the trigger. We just shouldn't forget we are in the bottom quarter in terms of spend over the last 3 years.
