This is what the owners of @barnsleyfc have done reducing 2 great supporters clubs to sharing a bus to fecking #htfc absolute disgusting and maddeningmy hat off to anyone who travel but my god the club is feckedI’ve just been told late courthouse bus is also sharing this bus
Embarrassing but understandable. Not a trip I'd want to make to see the final coffin nail driven in. I'll probably turn Sky off as soon as we go behind.....
paying to watch us get relegated away at Huddersfield? fk that I dread to think what the remaining home attendances are going to be.
I've often thought if there were another major disaster at a Stadium would they stop using this method for attendances? I'd hate a fire officer or rescuer to die going back into a stadium looking for me when my arse was planted on the sofa watching the racing.
I go with East Dene and numbers have rapidly reduced this season. I assume it’s the same with most supporters clubs. I’m sure we’ll have some back in League 1 next season when (if) we’re competing.
I am not being funny but what do people expect ? support has understandably dropped off but to be honest for those brave souls who are going it makes sense to share coaches/buses , it helps covers the costs & with fans enduring a torrid time watching the reds then saving a few bob is a good idea , lets hope those what go get rewarded with a result & performance their support deserves .
It'll still be more than Sheff U brought to Oakwell for a Sunday afternoon in the 80s....about 200 was it (from memory).....just 'cos it was on telly.....
When I asked the box office they said just over 530 as of this morning but had quite a few sales today including 2 tickets for me. I'd guess we'll end up around 700-800
The fire brigade, tax man, police etc will all know the real attendance. It's just fans and potential advertisers who are lied to. I'd be absolutely livid if I paid money to advertise at Oakwell because they have claimed an average attendance and therefore viewing figures for an advert thousands higher than the real figure.
800 paying to watch us get relegated for a game thats on sky on a friday night. To watch a team whos head coach is clueless and players gave up weeks ago. Who have the worst away record in the league won 1 away game all season. Not a bad turn out considering
I went to Swansea but ****** to Huddersfield! Will go to Cas v Saints. Mind you, that’s likely to be a thrashing as well - and not in a good way!
Is this to do with the state of the club, or the fact that Sky have shifted it? There was about 4/5 of us who were going (albeit on the train) and we've decided against it because its a Friday night rather than due to our league status. We're watching in the pub instead.
