Unfortunately I can't get to the meeting tonight as I can't leave work early enough to get there for the start.

    Apologies to all.

    Yer gret puff

You never wanted to go. You only said you'd go because everyone was hassling you. Now you've made some lame excuse about work.

Have some ballacks and tell the truth. You don't want to go and it's **** all to do with anyone else what you do.

    Re: Yer gret puff

I PM'd Gally at 10:57 I said I would try and get there for some of it - which I will.

So I need to know if Dyson is still going so we can sit together.

    Re: Yer gret puff

I'm only pulling yer leg. But if you don't want to go you shouldn't feel pressured in to doing so.

I'm not going. It's not because I'm doing anything else, it's not because I'm busy, it's because I don't want to.

There was a time I'd have jumped at the chance. I was a member of both the supporters club and the supporters trust. I went to all the meetings and saw all the guest speakers. But it became increasingly apparent that the club weren't interested in the slightest in anything we put forward and for the most part we were just lied to, or at the very least kept in the dark. We were patronised and tolerated but not thought to have any worth. It just seemed pointless. That's not to say that will be the case with Don Rowing. I've never heard him speak and he's working under a different regime, but past experience has put me off this kind of thing forever.
