on mi way to pikeyland for work this morning........emergency services on the scene and very long tailbacks near Marr Lodge. Doesnt look good for someone at crimbo.....hope all are ok but didnt look good
Notorious accident blackspot area at the junction of Hangmanstone lane. Hope everyone comes away unscathed
Every time I go through here on the way to or from Barnsley I expect to see an accident. Some really get up to speed heading down the hill towards Marr and suddenly find that they are in a speed limit bottle neck. Seen plenty of fools taking a risk on that long straight bit even with traffic heading towards them. I wonder if that renovation work that is going on had something to do with it. Not a good area at all.
