Play him as a left winger then give him 7 minutes in his favoured position then drop him from the line up altogether. Only player in our squad that can create from midfield. Hope we win today like, but getting less impressed with the manager by the day.
He's been promoted to the bench after Ramage was injured during the warm-up and TK was brought in to the team. So he's currently 18th choice outfield player.
On his day he's a match winning player. Trouble is he has too many off days and on those days he is a waste of space.
Played in his position, and regularly, he scored 6 goals last season and created - directly - 12 others. very influential he was. But aye, he's a waste of space. On the wing/bench. "Premier League quality" just 8 weeks ago. Said Flicker.
Maybe it's flitcrofts way of giving him a kick up the arse to get him playing a bit more consistently, regardless of where he plays.
Has he had a fair run in his own position? You know, like O'Grady, Kennedy, Etuhu, Perkins, Wiseman, Dagnall etc?
Not at all! Flicker hasn't gave him hardly any hope of playing in his natural position. Puts him on the wing then if we lose he's the first player to lose his place in the team.
No he hasn't, but then again for a 'gifted' footballer, mellis hasn't made much of a fist of playing left either. You would expect a bit more if the premiership hype is to be believed Ps this will be flitcrofts thinking, not mine
After the ******** that Flitcroft has come out with this season I don't think his thinking or reasoning counts for much. No defender or keeper on the bench today, if that costs us today he should lose his job.
To be fair, I've stopped listening to him whitey, most of what he says is meaningless and he imparts very little actual information. He needs to hav a few lessons from Ben Mansford, he is much better at presenting himself in the media
I find amusement in most of his interviews. I'm more concerned at his impact on the players, and results/performances etc. A lot of successful managers talk ****. Rochdale 3-1 up at half time, by the way.
