we seem to get it rammed down our throats on a regular basis just how many of the above our man Simon has. How he is steeped in football technicalia etc.I served many many years as an aircraft technician in the Royal Air Force and saw many "Engineering Officers" who were supposedly my superiors. They had degrees, diploma's , certificates, letters after the name etc..and most of them could not hold a screwdriver the right way round. So Simon has a vast array of FIFA et al coaching badges..but for sure he has no idea what the game of football is about ,and even less idea about man management or motivational skills. Also his handling of the media is dreadful.Mr Cryne is a proven business man , thats why he is an extremely wealthy man.But he does not appear to have grasped the way a Football club/business works. To this end we are now going to be playing league one football next term.We need either Mr Cryne or Mr Davey to get to grips with the ideals that mean success in the football world ..and quick. If not then I fear our demise will go even further. I expect the "Children of Simon " to now come at me saying "Could you do better"...well as for the technical side of the footballl no, at least not at this time.I have not the badges. But as for the motivational/man management side ...absolutely YES.And that side is perhaps the most important part.
absolutely but no matter how many pieces of paper on your wall or badges on your sleeve, it does not maketh a great manager. I have to wonder how managers like Matt Busby, Jock Stein, Brian Clough etc etc would react to this badges malarkey...I can hear their hysterical laughter now
RE: absolutely I got A* at GCSE for German and French, but could I have any sort of conversation in either language? Could I ****. Got the certificates though.
It's taken you long enough but you got there in the end. http://www.barnsleyfc.org.uk/bbs/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=79397&mid=508878#M508878

That's a belter... "But as for the motivational/man management side ...absolutely YES" I've come to associate the name Dragon Tyke with the upbeat, positive, never-say-die attitude required for motivation. Chuffin nora... you'd be lucky to get eleven players back on to the pitch after your half time talk. They'd all be hitting the vodka.
