ALBION have completed their third summer signing by capturing Rotherham prospect Reuben Reid for an undisclosed fee. The 21-year-old winger, who can also play as a striker, this evening signed a two-year contract, plus a further year's option in the club's favour, after passing a medical. Reid enjoyed a prolific first full season in league football last term, bagging 19 goals for the League Two Millers. Roberto Di Matteo is delighted to have signed the powerful 6ft forward but has urged Albion fans not to expect too much too soon from him, saying he has initially been signed as a squad player. "Reuben is a young, exciting, talented player," said the head coach. "He has a lot of potential to improve. "He scored a lot of goals last season and has a lot of pace. http://www.wba.co.uk/page/News/0,,10366~1739890,00.html "He will give us a different option.

He went for 200k, hardly a bank breaker. Di Matteo was after him at MK Dons too, had a 100k bid rejected for him when he was still with them.
