Forgive me if this has already been talked about but which tackle was worse? Taylor on Eduardo or Diaby on Stiensson? For me there is no contest. The latter was far worse and he has previous, also against Bolton on Campo I think, Yet Wenger just dismissed it on MOTD yet was calling for Taylor to be banned for life? OK the Eduardo injury was horrific but a blatant accident. Wenger does my head in with his selective vision.

Thought Taylor's was worse, although I thought both were accidental....and Wenger did retract his comments about the lifetime ban saying he said it in the heat of the moment.

Wenger retracted his first statement about Taylor which was said in the heat of the moment which is understandable. He also said he has no complaints about the red card given to Diaby. Am i missing something?

For me Taylors was a pure accident. This wknd there seemed to be absolutely no care and almost an intent.

The point is, although Wenger retracted his comments about Taylor his players commit offences like Diaby did at the weekend and although he said he had no complaints about the red card he didn't think it was that bad a challenge and was unlucky?? It was a disgusting lunge that was no where near the ball and he has previous! Arsenal are a dirty bunch, especially the likes of Eboue, Gallas and Diaby but Wenger is all too quick to point the finger!
