    Is absolutely appalling, staggeringly bad.

They don't have anywhere near the talent of Australia, but one way to even it up in 20 overs is to run well and then field well but they are embarrassing themselves.

    Being a non-leather-whacking type...

...how difficult can running between the wickets be?

    Well...

They have been running ones when twos are there, but the piece de resistance was a bloke hitting a ball almost for four, but unfortunately because he spent about 10 seconds admiring the shot, they ran one when there were 2/3 there - and even then they were almost run out!

    Appalling stuff.

Was watching Great Britain v Holland in Baseball European Championships, wouldn't have thought that the winners of the game would be European Champions and qualify for the Olympics the way GB fielded, chance to get out the runner going for home to prevent him scoring, oh no we'll get the guy at 2nd instead -bloody appalling! Now GB have to go into the Olympic qualifying tournament instead.

Isn't baseball being left out of the olympics, or is that another sport?

Left out from 2012, but is in next year....bloody gutting for the GB team when they would have had automatic qualification and I know a couple of lads that have been in the squad, and also means reduced funding from the sports council for clubs.
Possibly be back in again from 2016 or 2020 but too late then for our lads.
