One of the things the chronicle says is it would pay for improvements to the west stand, and a bar in the ponty. We have supposedly been looking to put a bar in the ponty for the last 3 seasons. Surely it wouldnt take selling off land, and building houses to pay for it. And if they did it right, it would pay for itself in beer sales.

It was a pretty poor design originally to not include a bar.

Not to mention them running out before half time on the final game of season.

It's only John Smith's Smooth and Fosters anyway - I'd rather drink my own piss!

why dont we do something NEW like have a proper pub in the ground

that you can only gain access to via the stadium on match days! That would be quality. You could go in there and be in the ground with plenty of time and if the games **** nip to the pub for a pint! lol

Would beat drinking out of plastic pots and cans.

could just have to produce season ticket or matchday ticket

otherwise would be hard to have it on the ground when peope from various stands want to go into it.

What about a couple of real ale handpumps on selling Taylor's Landlord and Exmoor Gold?.

    Sigh (!) I can but dream[IMG]

Then they could have a Guest Handpump - Brains SA would be a good start or what about a "White Beer" pump? Draught Hoegarten or that 'Blanc' that they have on in Wetherspoons in Wombwell is nice, ice cold and refreshing....

God I'm away with the fairies here ![IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

I know for a fact it'll be that awful John Smiths smooth and that yellow tasteless fizz - Fosters YUCK!
