Ring O Bells or Red Lion in Silkstone. I guess you could always go to the sandwich shop at Oakwell and watch our boys train

Popped in there one Sunday afternoon. Obviously wasn't looking for a culinary experience in there, just something to eat, we were hungry.</p> Said to the head pillock, "Have you got a table?" </p> "Yes we have," he said and left us standing for a while. </p> When he came back he said, "What name is the booking?"</p> "We haven't booked," says I, "I asked you if you had a table."</p> "Oh, no," says pillock, "I meant we've got a table if you've booked."</p> Light touch paper and stand back. Where do they get these people? And it stinks of overcooked veg andstale fat. Ended up getting some proper food in a proper place with proper staff who didn't smell funny.</p> In short, it's ****.</p>
This is uncanny I heartily concur. Where it's reputation comes from Christ knows. Perhaps it was good once and they've decided to have a good kip on their laurels.
Not been for a while but last time I went the pub meals were good and I took a dozen poncey management types from "HHHHarrow gate" who thought it was good.
