Ring O Bells or Red Lion in Silkstone. I guess you could always go to the sandwich shop at Oakwell and watch our boys train :D :D :D

Popped in there one Sunday afternoon.

Obviously wasn't looking for a culinary experience in there, just something to eat, we were hungry.

Said to the head pillock, "Have you got a table?"

"Yes we have," he said and left us standing for a while.

When he came back he said, "What name is the booking?"

"We haven't booked," says I, "I asked you if you had a table."

"Oh, no," says pillock, "I meant we've got a table if you've booked."

Light touch paper and stand back. Where do they get these people? And it stinks of overcooked veg andstale fat. Ended up getting some proper food in a proper place with proper staff who didn't smell funny.

    In short, it's ****.

    This is uncanny

I heartily concur. Where it's reputation comes from Christ knows. Perhaps it was good once and they've decided to have a good kip on their laurels.

    Not been for a while

but last time I went the pub meals were good and I took a dozen poncey management types from "HHHHarrow gate" who thought it was good.
